Seahawks bring back QB Drew Lock, signing him for a second stint
The Seahawks signed Drew Lock to a two-year, $5 million contract on Friday, bringing him back to the team after a year away in New York with the Giants.
As a solid backup QB, this puts Sam Howells future in question, as it’s been apparent that Lock’s play is more beneficial to the Seahawks system, and he’s the better option to have on the team.
After a quiet portion of the offseason in the Seahawks front office, this is another small move that continues to build up for a promising year ahead.
A good option for the Seahawks and a great opportunity for Drew to make a difference if called upon.
